Chris Furlotte
Brookfield Global Relocation Services

Chris leads client development initiatives for Brookfield in the western US and Canada. With over 25 years of experience in the mobility industry, Chris has held various positions in leadership, sales, operations, client relations, group moves and consulting. In addition, he has also managed a regional operational office with 32 direct and indirect reports, which all supported the mobility of his various global accounts. He is a recognized industry leader and has spoken at local and national industry conferences on topics ranging from policy development and program design to service level agreement management and family support services. Outside his primary roles, Chris is the President of the Southern California Relocation Counsel, and in the past has served on the boards of the Bay Area Professionals in Relocation and the Western International Personnel Association. He earned a BS in Business Administration from University of Rhode Island and a Certificate in International Business from UC Irvine. In addition to his degrees, Chris also holds Worldwide ERC’s Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation.

Jane Frye

Jane Frye is Global Account Manager with Alexander’s Mobility Services. Working with companies that need to relocate employees domestically and internationally. After 15 plus years' of success as a sales professional in the hotel industry in San Diego Jane made the transition to the mobility industry six years. Starting her career in the corporate housing area of the business. Jane is committed to taking care of the customer and doing whatever it takes to get the job done. She has a passion for serving others and has been a volunteer for many organizations including Meeting Planners International, Educational Boards and Southern California Relocation Council.

Joshua Hyatt, CRP
Plus Relocation

Josh Hyatt has over 10 years experience in the global mobility industry and currently holds the position of Director Business Development, Plus Relocation Prior to joining Plus Relocation Josh was a National Sales Executive for ACS/Xerox Relocation where he was won several Sales awards. In addition, Josh has also worked for Paragon Relocation where he held the title of Global Business Development responsible for the Western region. Josh was 3 time business development person of the year during his tenure. In addition to business development roles, he has 10+ years of experience in marketing, and has held several Director level positions in the Architectural/Engineering, Telecom, and Hi-Tech/Dot Com industries, as well as holding the title as Manager, Marketing and Communications at Paragon Relocation.

Josh has a BS, in Business Administration, from University of California, Riverside. He is a member of the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (ERC) receiving his Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation in 2005.


Tracie Pham
Blizzard Entertainment

Tracie Pham comes to the SCRC Board having been responsible for managing the Global Mobility function at Blizzard Entertainment. Prior to that, she was responsible for the international assignment programs at Western Digital, where she was employed for 10 years, 6 of those in Global Mobility. This includes strategic workforce planning, talent mobility, business traveler tracking and compliance, overall process improvements, policy design, vendor management, and issue resolution.

Passionate about transforming global mobility from a tactical to strategic partner with talent management.


Josh Flatt
Alexander's Mobility Services

Joshua is a National Account Executive with Alexander’s Mobility Services, focusing on corporate talent mobility with a niche in professional sports relocation. He has been in the industry for 10 years and actively involved with SCRC since 2011. He most recently served on Worldwide ERC’s YP40 Committee, and has been heavily involved with the development of a local YP40 startup in Southern California. Joshua earned his BA from the American University in Washington, DC, majoring in print journalism and political science. Prior to joining the relocation industry he worked on Capitol Hill and was a Congressional Campaign Manager for a race in California’s 36th Congressional District.

Michelle Olympia-Boldt
MUFG Union Bank

Michelle Olympia-Boldt is VP, Senior Mobility Program Manager at MUFG Union Bank where she’s been employed since December 2008. She manages all aspects of the Global Mobility Program for the bank and has been a project manager for key bank initiatives. Michelle has been in the Human Resources field for 12 years and has a B.A. in Psychology from California State University of Northridge. She enjoys crafting and spending time with her husband Sean and her two cats, Midnight and Sky.

Gabriela Palacios

Gabriela started her relocation career at The MI Group working as an International Relocation Manager supporting a multinational engineering and construction firm. This position lead to a newly created team as the Global Payroll Team Lead. Gabriela then transition to a corporate role as a Global Counselor at Bechtel Business Services, during her time with Bechtel Business Services, Gabriela had the opportunity to become an expat herself and relocated internationally for a short term assignment in Santiago, Chile. Relocating back to California Gabriela joined Odyssey Relocation Management as a Global Relocation Consultant. Gabriela now holds a position with Herbalife Nutrition a global nutrition company as a Global Mobility Specialist supporting domestic and international relocations and helping develop a world class, innovative relocation program with a strong commitment to customer support.


John Habanek, CRP, GMS

John is Vice President and Regional Sales Director for Chase on the West Coast. John believes that we’re all travelers on the same ship and that we are more alike than we are different. He’s blended this spirit with patience and understanding to unite people and build powerful, mutually beneficial relationships with his colleagues, customers and partners alike.

John has eclipsed high volume sales goals throughout his 16 years in financial services by pairing this compassion with his voracious appetite for learning and his reputation for always doing the right thing. When he’s not on the road telling the Chase Relocation story, you can find him cooking at home for his family, getting choked on the jiu-jitsu mats, or balancing on two wheels—those of his Harley-Davidson or his mountain bike. Taylor Williams Smith

As Director of Business Development, Taylor supports our clients with their new initiatives, providing consultative support to new clients, and promoting TheMIGroup externally.

Taylor is responsible for working with TheMIGroup’s clients in implementing and managing their global relocation program. She partners with her clients to develop strategic and innovative mobility programs, while ensuring all Agreement and SLA metrics are being met. Her day-to-day functions include account management, consulting services, and business development.

Jelena Katic
MSI Global Talent Solutions

Jelena is responsible for managing MSI’s western region of client global and domestic relocation programs. She partners with clients to build business strategies and solutions for acquiring, developing, mobilizing, and expanding talent into new markets worldwide. Jelena’s duties also include the analyses of “best practice” through research and development of benchmarking data around competitive models in specific client verticals. With over 12 years of experience in the relocation industry Jelena also hold Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designations

Derek Benson
Union Bank

Derek Benson is a native of Orange County and currently lives and works in the city of Orange. He is VP, Sr. Operations Program Manager of Talent Acquisition at MUFG Union Bank where he’s been employed since January 2008. Derek has been in the Talent Acquisition field for 15 years, starting first as a recruiter in the mortgage industry. In his free time, he enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer work. He is presently on the boards of two local non-profit organizations. He also enjoys taking his dog Piper to the dog beach or for long walks on sunny days.

Gary Wagner

Gary Wagner joined the SCRC Board in 2009 and just celebrated his 20th year with Cartus. After holding successively responsible positions in both global operations and account management, he is currently an Account Management Director overseeing a diverse portfolio of US and international clients.

Gary received a Bachelor of Science degree in Justice & Law Administration with a minor in Biology from Western Connecticut State University's Ancell School of Business. He is a member of Worldwide Employee Relocation Council and has spoken on panels at the national conference. Gary earned his Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation in 1994.

Bernadette Fargo, CRP, GMS

Bernadette has been in the relocation industry since 1978, and currently holds the role of Marketing Director with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Prior to working at Wells Fargo, she has held positions with Prudential Relocation, PHH and National Relocation Assistance Corp. She is also an active member of several industry groups beyond SCRC including Worldwide ERC, BAMM and ARA. A native of San Diego, Bernadette graduated from San Diego State university. She is a mother 6 and loves traveling.

Ciela Lewis
Odyssey Relocation

As Vice President of Business Development, Ciela Lewis is responsible for securing new client partnerships for Odyssey Relocation, a leading provider of premier relocation services. Ciela uses her industry knowledge to consult with the global mobility program leaders to identify and design customized talent and relocation solutions.

With over 15 years in the relocation industry, Ciela has been involved with Southern California Relocation Council (SCRC) and Bay Area Mobility Management (BAMM) regional groups. Ciela has held numerous Board positions throughout her tenure at both organizations, ultimately serving as President for both.

Helen Maracle

Helen Maracle has been in the relocation industry for 16 years. Her experience started with owning and operating her own van line agency followed by Corporate Sales in the 3rd party services arena and now is Vice President, Business Development for RELO Direct, Inc., which provides full service corporate relocation services.

Helen has been active on the California Moving & Storage Assn Board of Directors as well as now serving as Vice President for SCRC. Helen also enjoys putting on many golf fundraising events throughout the year for various non-profit organizations.


Jean Gong
Arpin Group, Inc.

Jean is the Western Region Business Development Director for Arpin Group, a leading worldwide household goods moving company with over 100 years of history. She is a new resident of California, originally from Arpin’s office in China, where she served for over two and half years as Business Development Manager for Eastern China markets. Jean is an active member of several industry groups including WERC, BAMM, PRC, PNwRC, SCRC, RMRC and ARA. As a mobility professional moving people all over the world, Jean has personally relocated three times and uses her experience to make her customers’ transition as smooth as possible..
