SCRC Fall Meeting at the Queen Mary

Join us for our Fall SCRC meeting at the beautiful and historic Queen Mary in Long Beach. 

We will be joined by Stephen Leach, Manager Workforce Diversity and Inclusion, Nestle USA who will be sharing with us Nestle's journey to help trailing spouses with the often difficult transition they face as part of the mobility process. During their journey they built a global network with over 80 member companies called the International Dual Career Network (IDCN) that now supports trailing spouses with new career avenues. 

Our second session will focus on industry disruptors with updates from Donnie Hill, Alexanders, MJ Myers, Synergy Corporate Housing, and David Fowler, Wells Fargo.

Parking Details: Please park in the designated lot for the SCRC event. Parking will be $7 per person.

PLEASE READ: SCRC will once again be supporting Working Wardrobes with a clothing drive at our November event. So, clean out those closets and bring clothing to donate. Professional attire is super amazing if you can bring it, but any clothing is welcome. Let's see if we can outdo last year! 

Interview attire is badly need, but you can bring anything as they will sell in one of their thrift stores to help fund their programs. Their preference is to have clothing donated clean and on hangers. 

They are also in need of gift cards ($5, $10, $20 gas, grocery, fast-food, Target, Walmart, etc.).  These are provided to their clients when they complete their program.  And lastly, there is always a need for office supplies (copy paper, paper products, plastic utensils, etc.).
